Zay is absolutely fed up with humanity’s destructive activities and is genuinely not impressed. However, he still finds joy in the world and the little things in his oh-so-very-long life: Small pleasures, such as shade on a hot summer day, an afternoon nap, or a cosy suit when it’s cold outside. Blah is a spirit tethered to Zay. Nobody knows how old he or she (it’s unclear which) is or where they come from—even Blah doesn’t know!
