First introductions are often so awkward

For me, it’s always been really awkward to make this very first post in an online blog, page, space, you name it. You’ve got to be either really cool and say how cool you and your work are; or be cute and welcome everyone to your page, space, etc. There are more different styles, of course, but these opening posts way too often make me feel like they’re somewhat fake. Maybe they all are just awkward?

Anyway, let’s do it. It’s my own website, and I will write and post here in my own voice.
